To save a Princess

So, basically, this is an RP where you have to save/find a princess who has disappeared/been kidnapped.

I haven't figured out all the details as far as plot goes, but I'd like to wait and see who joins and who/what they are. I do know that this RP will take place in medieval/fantasy times. (Yes, I know, another one.) But other than that I have only a rough idea of what things would be like.

Oh, and the RP will probably be GM run.

So... Yeah, I guess I'll figure out the other stuff as I go.

Name: Malwind
Race: looks to be human
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Weapons: A long sword with a gem in the center of the silver handle that is blue.
Description: Malwind has red hair that pokes out places and green shiney AWESOME eyes. He wears a black shirt, pants, and boots. He also has a traveling cloak with many pockets, which he wears over that. he has a sheathed sword which is on his right side. AND he has a black blindfold on his right arm.

Okay. I'm just going to start it since this thread has been open for a while now. If anyone else wants to join, just ask and I'll work you in somehow.

Here we go:

Malwind: You were in the tavern, doing awesome stuff and whatever it is you do in taverns to have fun in the late afternoon. When, just as you were about to eat dinner, the barmaid handed you a letter saying some stranger told her to give it to you. If you were to look around the tavern, all the people there looked perfectly normal, and none of them appear to be the type to give you suspicious letters. Except for maybe the bard, who was telling some early drunks about the "pirates who captured a whirlpool," but bards were always like that.

The letter looks perfectly plain, and has no markings on it at all. Your food is some steak and carrots and peas, along with a side of the tavern's famous apple sauce.

Malwind sighed, he opened the letter, and ate some apple sauce.

I think I will join, cause I dont want Malwind to be lonely xD

but my mind is blank atm so it might take me a while to think of a char.

Oh, don't worry. Malwind isn't going to be lonely. I have a plot to have someone travel with him. And take all the time you need. Since I'm making this up as I go, I can probably come up with some way to work you into the RP.

Malwind: Upon opening the letter, you see that whoever wrote it has very nice handwriting, despite the fact it looks like they must have been in a hurry when writing. It says: "I apologize for the secrecy, but I must ask you to meet me outside the east gate at midnight tonight. It's a rather important to me that we meet, but I understand if you do not wish to get involved." The letter is not signed.

The apple sauce tastes great. It is arguably some of the best apple sauce you've ever had.

Age: 14
Gender: Female
Description: Short black hair, bobbed. Forest-green eyes. Long navy-blue knit overcoat that reaches her ankles. Underneath you can barely see that she is wearing something black, but you cant really tell what exactly it is, because the knitting on her overcoat is too tight. She is wearing black boots.
Skills: Swordfighting, maritial arts, pursuasion (dunno if i spelled that right xD)
Height: um... pretty tall for her age xD

Malwind frowned at the letter, it seemed strange, and could very well be a trap, but then..it would be something to do, and Malwind didn't have much to do. So, Malwind decided he would go and see this mysterious person. He finished his apple sauce quickly, and began eating the rest of his food.

OOC: Wendi, I'll just introduce your character as someone that's traveling on the road or something like that, okay? Or, I suppose you could be spying on Malwind, but I dunno if your character is the type to spy on people or not.

Malwind: The rest of the food is very yummy.

Later that evening, you head over to the east gate. There are guards patrolling up on the wall. The guards don't seem to pay you any mind (they must be used to adventurers heading out in the middle of the night). Quite a ways down the road, you see a large tree, marking the entrance to a forest. You, being awesome, notice someone sitting at the base of the tree, though they are pretty hard to see.

ooc: 'kay so Hazel is the one sitting at the base of the tree?

OOC: Um, no. The person at the base of the tree is the one who sent Malwind the letter. You can be at the base of a different tree if you want. XD

ooc: its up to you xD

OOC: Okay. Well, hopefully it'll be soon, but D. Cubone seems to be taking a long time. :/

OOC: hahaha you could always force her onto the comp >:3

Malwind walked toward the tree. Figuring that the person there was the person he was to meet. and if they weren't, he would well, he would figure that out if it should come.

Malwind: As you approach the tree, the person looks up. They look like they would be about as tall as you and are kind of creepy in their dark cloak. They're face is completely hidden, but you get the feeling they are expecting something from you. You also notice that they seem to be holding some kind of metal longbow.

Hazel: You are walking along the forest road minding your own business when two bandits come out of the trees and demand all your valuables. One of them is a large heavy-set man with a large club, the other is a smaller man with a long knife. They both look at you in a threatening way.

OOC: There.

Oh, and I think I will have to put a time limit on this now that there are more people. So, now, if you don't post within... Say... Four days. I'll just reply and assume your character did nothing. Is this okay? Or do you think I should make the time limit longer, shorter or what?

Hazel looked from one bandit, to the next. "What's in it for me?" she asked, shrugging.

"Hello there, I'm Malwind. I was wondering if you are the one who sent a letter to meet me here." Malwind said casually. He looked in his pockets for the letter, for if he should have to show the person the letter as evidence or something.

Hazel: The bigger bandit glares at you. The smaller bandit waves his knife at you threateningly. "How about we leave that nasty tongue in your mouth?" He said with an evil smile.

Malwind: The person stands up when you show him the letter. "Yes, I am the one who sent you the letter." He says. Then he shrugs and pulls the hood of his cloak back. He looks quite young, about the same age as you. He has short brown hair, a little messed up from the hood, and blue eyes. "My name is Alynar Bluecreek." He hesitated for a moment, then deiced to get to the point. "My sister was kidnapped and taken to the east, and I could use some help rescuing her."

"Hmm...." Malwind pondered for awhile, as he put away the letter. "Very well then. We had best to be going then." Malwind said simply, looking to the east. "I assume your ready...?" Malwind inquired. Malwind wasn't sure if this man was telling the whole truth or not, but, that didn't really matter, from the looks of things, it seemed he was going to have a fun adventure. Or...at least he hoped so.

Hazel shrugged. "Or you could leave me alone so you dont end up getting beaten. Your choice."

Malwind: The mans face lights up. He looks happy and relieved, like he was expecting you to refuse. "Really? You mean, just like that?" He said. Then he clears his throat and looks determined. "I mean, of course I'm ready." He set his bow on the ground and pulls a map out from one of his pockets. It's a small map, and it looks cheaply drawn. You notice there's words on the top of it saying "Her body will be found here."

"Well, according to this, she should be in the old ruins, a little ways into the forest." He put the map away, picked up his bow, (which you notice has no string) and started walking towards the forest.

Hazel: The bandits don't back away. On the contrary, them seem to have had enough of your taunts. The bigger one swings his club at you while the smaller one ducks (so as not to get hit with his friend's club) and tries to stab you with his knife.

Malwind followed Alynar, listening for any noises.
